My Passion
I am passionate about many genres of music and truly believe it is capable of inspiring and uplifting people from all walks of life.
My Engagements
Currently I am involved with three bands on a regular basis. You can find me performing in South Jersey with the Shore Jazz Project, The Rockets and Special K. In between performances I provide music instruction at Music & Arts.
My Background
I attended Berklee College in Boston and graduated in 2020. It is a renowned music school for music performance and theory.
After graduation I worked in both live and studio settings. I have played in the band, Roland, and an original recording project with the Damn Renegades. I have also appeared with Country singer Caryn Dixon.
About the Journey
Matteo Mancuso is a phenomenal Italian jazz and rock guitarist and composer from Palermo, Sicily. Mancuso is known for adapting a quasi-flamenco/classical right-hand technique. I am so glad I got the opportunity to see him play, and later meet him, after his show in Red Bank.
The 2024 show schedule has been completed. The Rockets Band played weekly shows in South Jersey, Maryland and Virginia this year. Once again, I want to thank my bandmates and the fans that came out to see us play at the Jersey Shore and elsewhere.
I hope to see you at the Ugly Mug, Nardi's, Carney's and other South Jersey, PA, DE, MD and VA venues in 2025.
With 2023 coming to a close I want to thank my bandmates in The Rockets band, the Damn Renegades and especially the fans that came out to see us play at the Jersey Shore, Philly area and those who streamed our music. More shows in store for 2024 including Austin, Texas and "Music City," Nashville.

I am playing in a new band named Damn Renegades with two familiar rockers from the Philly area.

In 2019 I burned the candle at both ends, but I enjoyed every minute of it. In addition to going to school full-time in Boston, I played with a talented Philly band named Roland and was occasionally graced by the presence of guest performers like Bumblefoot. (See photo with him playing his famous double neck guitar at the Anchor Rock Club in Atlantic City.)
I also made a new guitar relationship with Sola Custom Guitars. I received my signature guitar that Summer just before playing the Aweless Charity Music Festival.
Growing up at the New Jersey shore, I got my first opportunity to perform live at the Beachcomber at the age of thirteen. I was involved in high school musicals and attended the NYU summer music school.
I am thankful to all that helped me along my musical journey.
